Ulster Literacy Day September 21st

About Ulster Literacy Day: Saturday, September 21st 2024 Ulster Literacy Day aims to raise awareness of the need to increase the levels of literacy in Ulster County because we know that literacy transforms communities. • The event takes place at participating bookstores in Ulster County. Each bookstore will donate 10% of all the day’s proceeds to Ulster Literacy Association (ULA).

These funds will go to support adult literacy programs.

Examples of ULA programs include:
Individualized tutoring; tutoring at correction facilities; tutoring remotely; tutoring to families; tutoring in digital literacy.
